About Us

Chef Alain founded, owned and operated Seven Gables eclectic restaurant since November 1988.

We serve dinner Monday through Saturday and we also offer accommodations for private parties, wedding receptions, rehearsal dinners, private luncheons, breakfasts, pharmaceutical functions, lunch and meet functions.

Reservations are welcome. Casual dress is fine. We accept all major credit cards.

Our Restaurant

sevengables-01Our restaurant is reminiscent of a suisse chalet, nestled among oak and cedar trees on 2.25 acre estate. While dining you can feel the heat of the live fire place in the winter and the cool breeze in the spring and fall. Through the windows you may spot a deer or two, squirrels and chipmunks.
Continental classics & specialties include Dover Sole Meuniere, Filet Mignon Bérnaise, Roast Rack of Lamb Romarin, Ribeye Steak Madagascar, Chicken Wellington, Roast Duck Breast, Pheasant and Quail…Lobster Tails, King Crab, Crabmeat Raviolis and Garden Linguini as well as Moroccan and Mediterranean Succulent Specialties with 24h notice.

Our Location 


    This is a wonderful place. Me and my husband came here for the first time. The service was great, the food was out of this world. I ordered the peppercorn ribye and they brought out 2 steaks to me,wow! The veggies was really good as well. I like the whole atmospere with the bar also. We will definetly be going back. That was the best steak I have ever had. I highly recommend anyone that has never been there to try it.

    A long standing favorite of Conyers for many many years! It’s great to avoid a long ride into Atlanta when you can find the best Continental cuisine right here…just a short ride to the east of Atlanta. The key-lime chicken is chef specialty but don’t miss out on the chicken Wellington or a growing number of Morroccan entrees that are authentically old country. Great selections of wines along with the chef selection of appetizer; a very romantic setting and superb staff with very classy French Provincial motif…it’s the best dinner buy on the East side of town!!

    What we got was beyond our expectations…. Delectable Dishes and Superb Service. We dined on great classic cuisine prepared by the owner Chef Alain. The food was both cooked properly and seasoned with care. The Dover Sole Meuniere is served whole and by request the smiley server debones it in front of you. The steak was raived about by my companion who testifies that is prime beef that rivals any Buckhead steack house. Very pleased to know such gem exist in our little county. Our server told us that this restaurant has been here for 20 years. Thank you chef Alain.

    GREAT FOOD!! ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! surprisingly affordable in this town of conyers full of chain restaurants. This is a family (of chefs) owned and operated. I tried the filet mignon au poivre and it was the best i’ve ever had (and i’ve had a lot in my time!).


    My wife and I have been dining at this fabulous restaurant for about 15 years now.Our kids love it and always cling to us on Saturdays or Fridays when we are heading to see Chef Alain and his wife. I travel for business to DC, New York and Seattle… I have never tasted a better Bouillabaise, and the same goes for the Dover sole and the Rack of lamb. The filet bearnaise is of prime quality. We love the new items the chef always come up with for us. Just ask him to make you the Shrimp and scallop Currie. This item is a hit with many of the guests now. Ask them to make you their own chocolate/hazelnut raviolis, the best dessert we have had, although the creme Brulee comes 2nd to none for my wife. This beautiful restaurant is for serious diners. It is always a treat to dine here.
